Ann Rains Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Rains of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Howell and Virginia Howell; her daughter Kimberly Ann Rains; her granddaughter Raine Braxton; her brother Neil B. Howell Jr.; and her pets, Allie and Chase.
She is survived by: her husband Sonny Rains; her son Buck Rains (Jennie) of Newport, N. C.; her grandchildren, Eddie Braxton, Kristopher Braxton, Meredith Rains and Summer Rains; and her great grandchildren, Talan Merrill and Tate Ferguson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557).
