He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenwood Slaughter and Doris Slaughter; and his brother Terry Slaughter. He is survived by: his wife Beth Slaughter; his children, April Slaughter, Whitney Finch (Collier) and Chase Slaughter; his grandsons, Tyler Mancini and Holden Adams; and his siblings, Cindy Smith (Allen) and Larry White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Macon State Park (2303 E Fort Macon Rd, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512).
