He was predeceased by: his parents, Waitus Woodrow Worrell and Marjorie Davis Worrell. He is survived by: his wife Sally Nash Borden Worrell; his daughter Lee Taylor (Billy); his grandchildren, Nash of Morehead City and Arabella of Morehead City; his son George A. Worrell Jr. of Newport News, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Tom and Sara Frances Borden of Raleigh, NC.
