She was predeceased by : her husband Harvey Joseph Pittman, Jr.; and her brothers, Ivy Morton, Dwight Morton, Jimmy Morton and Archie Morton.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia P. Rouse (Marvin), Ken D. Pittman (Rita) and Steve C. Pittman (Jeanette); her grandsons, Clint Rouse (Jennifer), Mark Rouse (Jennifer), Brian Pittman (Aleisha), Sean Pittman, Tyler Pittman (Rachel) and Michael Pittman; her great grandchildren, Lake Rouse (Alex), Rachel Rouse, Walker Rouse, Ryan Rouse, Lucas Pittman, Grayson Pittman, Delaney Pittman and Ollie Pittman; and her siblings, Sara Parker, Judy Timar, Connie Morton, Rodney Morton and Lonnie Morton.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Garner Funeral Home (209 W Peyton Ave, Kinston, NC 28501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Westview Cemetery (917 Cleveland Dr, Kinston, NC 28504).
