Pona of Suffolk, VA; his grandparents, Mary Jesse Powell of Franklin, VA, Evely Bowser of South Hill, VA and Quamari Byron of Suffolk, VA; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Ann Kindred (Eric) of Franklin, VA, Corelia Seabron, Annette Williams, Sharon Edwards of Ahoskie, NC, Horace Eley (Joyce) of Charlotte, NC, Allen Eley (Barbara) of Cofield, NC, Ralph Edwards, Demery (Helen) of Lewiston, NC, Ricky Britt of Murfreesboro, NC and Rodney Faison. He is also survived by other aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church (1011 Parker St, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
