She is survived by: her son Jerome Tann of Aulander, NC; and her siblings, Beryl Sessoms James of Ahoskie, NC, Doris Odell Jacobs of Aulander, NC, Annie Laura Sessoms of Aulander, NC, Edith Sessoms Knight of Mapleton, GA, Idella Sessoms Futrell (Commie) of Ahoskie, NC, Angela Sessoms Mizzelle of Aulander, NC, Herman Sessoms, Jr. of Ahoskie, NC, Clifton Sessoms (Patsy) of Ahoskie, NC and Owen "Red" Sessoms, Sr. (Donna) of Aulander, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three aunts; 1 uncle; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church (2529 US-13, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
