We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, at the age of 87, Sadie Lucille Dixon White (Aulander, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Dixon and Sadie Capps Dixon; her husband Joseph White; her sons, Billy and Luke Bunting; and her siblings, Gladys Ezell, Sally Baker and Lawrence Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Payne of Rives, TN, Frankie Harper of Haw River, NC, Lawrence Harper of Hillsborough, NC and Bobby Harper of Caruthersville, MO; and her brother James Dixon of Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Garrett-Sykes Aulander Chapel (117 S Commerce St, Aulander, NC 27805). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Edgewood Cemetery.
