She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Beckner and Estell Beckner; her husband Herbert Holt Goodman; her son H. Mark Goodman; her brother-in-law Charles Leonard Hutchens; and her nephew Charles Leonard Hutchens, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter B. Ellen Mercer (Danny) of Aurora; her granddaughters, Lindsay Goodman Devine (Cory) of Kure Beach and Kellie D. Mercer of Washington, NC; and her sister Dorothy B. Hutchens of Clemmons.
