He was predeceased by: his parents, Landford Eugene Bennett and Stella Mae Edwards Bennett; and his brother-in-law Gary Kidney. He is survived by: his wife Laura Anne Werner; his children, Dainelle Bennett Stilley (Eric) of Aurora, Derek Ray Bennett of Bayboro and Rebecca Anne Bennett (Devin) of Raleigh; his siblings, Carol Kidney of Aurora and Clifton Allen Bennett (Janice) of Jacksonville; his grandsons, William Gage Daniels and Landon Christipher Yeates; and his nephew Gene Hopkins (Kay) of Edward.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dalton's Home.
