He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Pritchard Hall and Mary Jane Naylor Hall; his wife Lois Evolene Riley Hall; and his siblings, Marie Faircloth, Louise Horne, Iskey Cain, Mary "Pete" Faircloth, James Hall, Walter "Tug" Hall, Wilma Faircloth and Edna Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Hall of Raleigh, David Hall (Nancy) of Zebulon and Kevin Hall of Raleigh; his grandsons, David Hall, Jr. (Victoria) of Fuquay Varina and Matthew Hall of Zebulon; his great grandchildren, Hunter Dettinger, Chase Hall and Evvie Hall; and his niece Barbara Hall of Autryville.
