She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Harold and Marjorie Catherine Page House; and her husband Arthur P. Horne. She is survived by : her sons, Darrin Pritchard Horne (Amy), Harold Cordell Horne and Dace Crafton Horne (Dawn); her grandchildren, Joshua Caleb Horne (Kyndall), Emily Marie Horne, McKenzie Leigh Allen (Dylan), Cassidy Michelle Wise (Holden) and Corbin Dace Horne; her siblings, Sandra H. Tew (Jimmy) and Kenneth Harold House (Debbie); and her sister-in-law Patricia Williford (Jerry). She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (401 W Roseboro St, Roseboro, NC 28382). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
