He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy "Tim" Spell; and his son-in-law Jim Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hall Spell; his daughters, Kandi Spell Small (Tommy Small) and Gina Spell Robinson; his grandchildren, Zoie Warren, Nate Small and Mackenzie Small; his brother Michael Spell (Barbara); his siblings-in-law, Becky Spell, Gail Hall (late Irvin Hall) and Cecil Hall (Ernestine); and his son Jeffrey Spell (Kim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
