He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ellis and Bertha Daugherty Ellis; and his wife Connie Lee Ellis. He is survived by: his daughters, Geneva "Genny" Lee Manke (Rod) of Fayetteville and Shana Oaks of Hope Mills; his grandchildren, William Donald Saxon of Fayetteville, Shane Oaks of Fayetteville and Lisa Zeeveld (Mike) of Atlanta, GA; and his great grandchildren, Katelyn and Jacob Zeeveld.
