He is survived by: his wife Lillian Louise Smith Coons; his children, Richard Coons (Christina Dunton) and Shantel Ingram (Okey); his stepchildren, Robin Johnson and Judy Johnson; and his grandchildren, Kari, Christopher, Dakota, Julianna, Gracelyn, David, Janie and Jason. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
