He was predeceased by: his parents, H. M. Bowen and Kathleen Bowen; and his wife Clovis Bowen. He is survived by: his son Jack Bowen (Angela) of Willow Green; and his brother Ronald Bowen (Rose) of Morehead City. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
