Maness; his sons, John L. Maness III and Doyle A. Maness (Julia); his extended family, Gregory Jones (Rebecca), Gary Jones (Laree) and Wayne C. Maness (Betty); his siblings, Dan Maness of Denton, NC and Betsy Alice Maness Robertson; and his granddaughters, Nona, Hailey, Makayla and Justina. He is also survived by grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
