We are sad to announce that, on November 2, 2025, at the age of 68, Karen Joyce Satterfield Mozingo of Ayden, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Dr. George Howard Satterfield, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Donnie Mozingo; her sons, John (Lisa) of Winterville, Thomas (Cathy) of Black Jack and Taylor (Emily Douglas) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Linsey, Mason, Cayleigh, Harper and Waylon Mozingo; her stepmother Joyce Satterfield of Greenville; her sister Debra Holley (Don) of Providence; her nieces and nephews, Dustin and Reagan Holley; and her siblings, Howard Satterfield (Vicky) of Clayton, Lisa Shank (Doug) of Ocean Isle and Diane Henderson (Eric) of Mebane.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
