He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhodes Corey and Hazel Cherry Stokes. He is survived by: his children, Raven Cherry Stokes, Kristen Wu, Rhodes Corey Stokes II and Lanny Chris Horne; his brother Billy Stokes; his grandchildren, Audrey Horne and Emerson Wu; and his close friend Robin Bossert.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Farmer Funeral Service (109 Second St, Ayden, NC 28513). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
