She was predeceased by: her husband James "Herbert" Ellis; her parents, Rufus Gaston Roberts and Luna Veasey Roberts; and her siblings, Martha Kulenkamp, Thelbert Roberts, Elbert Roberts, Calvin Roberts, John Wesley Roberts, R. G. Roberts, Thelma Thomas, Lorena Green and Betsy Stone.
She is survived by: her son Joey Ellis (Carmon Ellis); her grandchildren, Dallas Ellis (Alec Davis), Dylan Ellis and Gage Colliot; and her brother Timothy Roberts (Barbara Roberts).
