He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Pyles and Betty Pyles; his wife Donna Faye Pyles; his daughter Danee'Lemmons; and his brother Jerry Pyles.
He is survived by: his children, Dee Dee Pyles Robinson of Bailey and Derrick David Pyles (Joanne) of Louisburg; his grandchildren, Sophia, Julia, Travis Lemmons (Melissa) of Holly Springs and Matt Lemmons (Mary) of Kenly; his great grandchildren, Addi, Kenzie, Katie and Avery; his son-in-law Lee Lemmons; his sister Pennie Fourman (Scott); and his nephews, Todd Fourman (Christy), Randy Fourman (Amanda) and Jeff Fourman (Alexis). He is also survived by three great nieces and three great nephews.
