He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Nichols and Bonnie Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Nichols; his children, Heidi Pope (Wes) of Wilson and Don Nichols (Lela) of Sims; his grandchildren, Elijah Pope, Erin Pope, Tyler Nichols and Jacob Nichols; his sisters, Nancy Hawley (Jim) and Joy Homza; and his brother-in-law Randy Bailey (Sandi). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
