Frances Davis Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Frances Davis of Bailey, North Carolina. Frances, born on July 22, 1941, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pennington and Louise Boswell Pennington; her husband Donnie Ray Davis; and her siblings, Linda Brehm, Bonnie Dampier and Douglas Pennington.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Ginn of Bailey and Gregory Davis (Linnet) of Jacksonville, NC; her sister Ann Gantz (Eugene) of Millersburg, PA; and her grandchildren, David Bieri, Tyler Davis, Gunner Ginn, Bethany Metz and Tiffany Ginn. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Shingleton Funeral Home (2413 Nash St NW, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
