He was predeceased by : his mother Eva Lamm Perry; and his brothers, Henry, Robert, William, Millard and Claude.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Perry; his children, Janice Whitehurst (Zeb) of Wilson, Glenn Perry (Tammy) of Bailey and Don Perry (Wendy) of Bailey; his niece Jean Langston of Lucama; his grandchildren, Zeb Whitehurst V, Jennifer Hendrix (Markus), Jonathan Perry, Brandon Perry, Haley Perry and Zachary Lee Perry; and his great grandchildren, Camille Hendrix and Bryce Hendrix.
