He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Wester and Gladys Wester; and his siblings, Barbara Wester Harris, Brenda Wester Barefoot and Hugh Glenn Wester.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ann Privette Wester; his daughters, Susan Wester Hough (Rodney) of Bailey and Laura Wester Pearson (Harold) of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Dylan Wyatt Bottoms (Reagan), Lyndsey Brooks Bottoms, Anna Kate Pearson and Emory Belle Pearson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bailey Global Methodist Church (12437 Green St, Bailey, NC 27807). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
