He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owen Flora and Rochelle Bryant Flora; his daughter Sandra Flora; his sisters, Peggy Perry and Shelby Wall; and his son-in-law Edward Hamm.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Flora; his children, Janet Hamm of Bailey and Greg Flora of Bailey; his grandsons, Lee Hamm (Lindsay Hamm) and Matthew Hamm (Haylee Hamm) of Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Jessie and Ryleigh.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bailey Cemetery (11499 NC-581, Bailey, NC 27807).
