He is survived by: his wife Georgia Joyner; his daughter Shannon Joyner of Nashville; his stepchildren, Marcus Whitley (Molly) of Sims and Anna Pittman (Brock) of Wilson; his granddaughters, Lilly Whitley and Chloe Whitley; his stepmother Laura Joyner of Castalia; and his siblings, Donna Worrell, Wayne Joyner (Melissa), Randy Perkins (Shannon) and Joey Joyner (Pam). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church (3967 W Hornes Church Rd, Bailey, NC 27807).
