He is survived by: his wife Edna Etheridge Pearson; his sons, Allen Pearson of Plymouth, NC and Harold Pearson (Laura) of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Pearson (Kaity) of Nashville, NC, Hannah Pearson of Middlesex, NC, Anna Kate Pearson of Greensboro, NC and Emory Pearson of Greensboro, NC; and his sister Cathy Gammon (Ron) of Kenly, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Bailey Town Cemetery (11499 NC-581, Bailey, NC 27807).
