He is survived by: his wife Arleen; his siblings, Allen, Evelyn, Joyce and Linda; and his grandson Alex. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home (2704 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
