We announce the death of Debbie Lou Buchanan (Bakersville, North Carolina), who passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 61. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Avery Burleson and Louella Evelyn Burleson (McKinney). She is survived by: her siblings, Doug Burleson (Missy) and Tammy Byrd (Terry); her nieces, Monica Burleson, Tiffany Burleson, Brittany Phillips (Cody) and Savanah Burleson; her friend Chris Sparks; and her great-nephews, Colton Phillips and Brayden Phillips.
