We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2023, Dwight Thomas of Bakersville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dwight Thomas to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Thomas and Hattie Greene Thomas; and his half-sister Charlene Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kitty" Thomas; his sons, Joe Thomas (Anne) of Spruce Pine, NC, Greg Thomas of Bakersville, NC and Gerald Thomas (Carrie) of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Chloe, Shelby and Danny Thomas; and his sister-in-law Jean Wilson of Mountain City, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Little Rock Creek Baptist Church.
