He was predeceased by : his father Fredrick Wainwright Berryhill, Sr.; his stepson Spencer H. Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Robinson, John "Jack" Boyd, Stephen Parker Boyd and Anne B. Berryhill.

He is survived by : his wife Florence Boyd Berryhill; his stepsons, Everette Justus (Angie) and Mark Justus; his siblings, Alice Richardson (Warren), Evelyn Robinson and Stuart Berryhill; and his stepgrandchildren, Lance Justus (Maggie) and Amanda Justus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
