He was predeceased by : his parents, Doss Garland and Pearl Stevens Garland; his siblings, Jay, Ray, Elmer, Doris Phillips, Elaine Garland and Wanda Sue Garland; his grandson Brian Garland; and his mother-in-law Edna Mae Krenzer.

He is survived by : his sons, Gregory and Brian; his granddaughter Donna; his wife Audrey Krenzer; his children, Greg, Ryleigh and Courtney Willis; his stepdaughters, Kayle Buchanan (Colton) and Felicia Alberts (Thomas); his daughter Donna (Mark Huskins); his siblings, Lloyd (Virginia), Elva Gay Johnson, Ellen Hawley (Lee) and Carolyn (Keith Galloway); and his siblings-in-law, Doris Humerick (Earl), Mary Brooks (Bob) and Harry Krenzer (Vicki). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
