She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Byrd and Clare Boone Byrd; her husband Wade Phillip Buchanan; her daughter Lori Ann Bailey; her grandparents, Carl and Mammy Boone; her brother Billy Byrd; and her sister-in-law Glenda Byrd.
She is survived by: her son Nathan Buchanan (Sandra) of Bakersville; her grandson David Bailey of Bakersville; her great grandchild Gracie Bailey; and her brothers, Richard Byrd of Jacks Creek and Mike Byrd (Lynn) of Micaville. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
