He is survived by: his wife Susan Ervin Michael; his son Larry Dean Michael Jr. (Tracy) of Raleigh; his stepchildren, Jennifer Miller (Josh) of Bakersville and Daniel Finger of Lincolnton; his sisters, Ann Michael Rhyne (Cotton) of Stanley and Joy Michael Buckner (Ned) of Gastonia; his sister-in-law Debbie Michael of Gastonia; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda Michael, Lanie, Allie and Rachel Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
