She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Bennett and Willetta Canipe Bennett. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Buchanan (Mike) of Bakersville, NC and Vicky Greene of Marion, NC; her stepchildren, Linda Carpenter of Hawaii and Kenneth Baker of Bakersville, NC; her brothers, Paul Bennett of Johnson City, TN and Arthur Bennett; her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew Buchanan, Nathan, Logan Greene, Brittany Cary, Jason Weston, Karen Melton and Brian Baker; her husband Luther William Baker; and her siblings, Grace Bennett, Muriel Laws, Kaye Johnson and Bill Bennett. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
