With sadness, we share the passing of Patsy Huskins Stamey of Bakersville, North Carolina. Patsy, born on September 21, 1937, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Huskins and Sally Johnson Huskins; her husband Bruce Stamey; and her siblings, Bill, Bob, Harold Huskins, Thelma Hipps and Atlas Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Robinson (Garry) of Bakersville; her grandson Bryce Robinson (Callie) of Knoxville, TN; and her great grandchild Tate Robinson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roan Mountain Baptist Church (37 Sandy Branch Rd, Bakersville, NC 28705). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cane Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations be made to Operation Christmas Child in care of Roan Mountain Baptist Church.
