She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Buchanan and Hazel Sparks Buchanan; and her niece Sonya Garland. She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Garland (Carroll); her nephew Steve Garland (Marcia) of Taylorsville; her great-nephew Lance Garland; and her great-niece Taylor Garland. She is also survived by extended family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (307 Main Ave Dr, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel (307 Main Ave Dr, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
