With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Trula Gardner of Bakersville, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rathbone and Bessie Rathbone; her husband Dallas Gardner; her daughter Ann Ward; her siblings, Cleo, Gladys, Georgie, Rosa Lee, Orlie, Wilkie and Emory; her daughter-in-law Brenda Gardner; her stepson Dallas D Gardner; and her grandchild Casey Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Gardner (Faye), Eddie Gardner, Danny Gardner, Lester Gardner (Betty), James Gardner, Donald Gardner (Penny), Teresa Sparks (Richard), Alane Hobson (Charles) and Dewayne Gardner (Charlotte); her son-in-law Sherrill Ward; and her sisters, Brenda Freeman and June Frye (Phillip). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
