She was predeceased by : her parents, Amos Nafziger and Winifred Cripe Nafziger; her husband Clifford Duncan; and her siblings, Tom and Sally.

She is survived by : her children, Glenn Duncan of Bakersville, Denise Young (Keith), Dianna'Dinky'Buchanan (Keith), Julianna Stout and Kiersten of Leesville, SC; her grandchildren, Jacob Thor Watson and Stormy Kay Buchanan; and her great grandchild Duncan Thor Bates. She is also survived by her family and particularly with her grandchildren and great grandson.
