It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Willis of Bakersville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Mae Huskins Self; his sister Sue Willis; and his brothers-in-law, Sammy Willis, David Wise and Charles Calloway.

He is survived by: his wife June Willis; his son Jerry Willis (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Drew Willis (Tiffany), Cody Willis (Halee), Sarah Stallard (Shane), Britany Henson (Daniel) and Emma Wiseman "Emmy"; and his great grandchildren, Remington, Alli Willis, Coy Stallard and Little Girl Willis.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge and In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to them at 236 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
