He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Edward Henson and Wanda Sue King; his children, Eddie Hughes (Brittany) of Newland, NC, Olivia Hughes (Taylor) of Elk Park, NC and Sammy Hughes of Roan Mountain, TN; his stepson Dustin Garland (Megan) of Roan Mountain, TN; his grandchildren, Raylan, Coy, Carter, Walt and Avalie; and his siblings, Tammy Lawhern (Eric) of Burnsville, NC, Denny Henson (Jason Withers) of Richmond, VA and Wayne King (Amy) of Paris, OH..
