Rachel Harmon Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rachel Harmon of Banner Elk, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rachel Harmon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Cannon and Ruby Harmon Cannon; her son Steve Harmon; and her brothers, Herman Cannon, Wayne Cannon and Lester Cannon.

She is survived by: her children, James Harmon (Nancy) and Beverly Perry (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Malorie Harmon, Britney Harmon (Jamie), Heather Miller (Chad) and Amber Stone (Colt); her great grandchildren, Addison, Aiden, Amelia, Harper, Aryon, Cadence, Carson, August and Salem; and her brother Hencil Cannon.

The family requests no flowers, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Harmon Cemetery.
