She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew E Yates; her parents, Amos Lee Ward and Ethel Odessa Baird Ward; her grandparents, Stanley Baird, Zenia Triplett Baird, William Ward and Rebecca Harmon Ward; her brother-in-law Jim Greene; her nephews, Monty Greene and Johnny Greene; and her granddaughter-in-law Mandy Ireland Ward of Winston Salem.
She is survived by: her sister Louise Green of Nashville, TN.; her daughter Karen Young of Advance, NC.; her grandchildren, Jonathan Yates (Stephanie), Jennifer Stevens (Todd), Justin Ward (Amanda Stophel), Preston Ward (Missy), Amanda Delp (Todd), Megan Ellis and Jackson Yates (Kaitlyn); her niece Robin Rickards of Nashville, TN.; her great grandchildren, Sam, Maggie Stevens, Paxton, Payton Ward, Allie Grace Yates, Kennedy, Mason Ellis, Aila, Aden Delp, Atlas, Merrit and Noble Yates; her stepgrandchildren, Frank Minervini, Julie Stephens and Nick Minervini; and her great great grandchild Stella Stephens.
