It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Kelly Humphries of Barnardsville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Humphries and Kathryn Powell Humphries; and his brother Paul Edward Humphries. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Anne Humphries and Sean Kelly Humphries; his wife Linda Humphries; his son Weston Powell Humphries; his son-in-law Sigurjon Gudjonsson; and his grandsons, Magnus Reid and Matthias Powell Sigurjonsson.
