She was predeceased by: her parents, William Otis Thomason and Helen Louise Ledford; her husband William Hal Austin; her daughter Teresa Austin Harwood; and her brothers, Gay, Guy Thomason and James.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Austin (Donna) of Barnardsville; her granddaughters, Christi Taylor (Brandon) of Woodfin and Jessica Harwood (Jason Rice) of Marshall; her great grandchildren, Taylor and Ella Taylor of Woodfin; and her siblings, Mack Thomason (Lucille) of Pensacola, Buck Thomason (Tammy) of Pensacola, Eloise White (Will) of Maggie Valley and Revonda Davis (David) of Asheville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
