She is survived by: her husband Perry Lyons of Tarboro, NC; her children, Ronald Tillery of Battleboro, NC, Julius Lyons of Tarboro, NC, Catherine Lyons of Tarboro, NC, Dr. Gertrude Lyons of Raleigh, NC, Beatrice Lyons Westry of Rocky Mount, NC and Jessica Lyons; and her sister Mary Frances Hawkins of Washington, DC. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
