Ceretha Mae Pridgen Conway Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 14, 2025, at the age of 93, Ceretha Mae Pridgen Conway (Battleboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hardy Pridgen and Ada Forsyth Pridgen; her husband Paul Marvin Conway, Sr.; her sons, Paul "Marvin" Conway, Jr. and Durwood "Woody" Conway; her siblings, George Pridgen and Fannie Zuidema (Charlie); and her siblings-in-law, Bobby Reaves and Willistine "Tennie" Pridgen.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joshua Conway (Christina), Shanna Conway, Jennifer Conway and Brad Conway; her siblings, Earl Pridgen and Edith Reaves; her niece Hope Jones (Robert); her nephews, Dwayne Pridgen (Beth) and Johnnie Pridgen (Janet); and her close friends, Diane and Gwen. She is also survived by her great-nephews; her great-nieces; her great great-niece.
