He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Miller and Cindy Miller; his wife Evelyn Miller; and his daughter Debra Miller Watts. He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Miller (Paula) and Randy Miller (Sharon); his son-in-law Foster "Babe" Watts; his brother Ellis Miller (Nancy); his grandchildren, Matthew Jones (Erica), Brent Jones and Macy Watts Payne (Lee); and his great grandchild Hunter Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
