It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jerry Philip Wilson of Bear Creek, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 82, on May 11, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Alexander and Ruby Kathleen Phillips Wilson; his uncle Doc; his aunt Ida Phillips Gaines; and his siblings, Berta Mae Wilson Tillman (Ernest), C. D. Wilson (Bertha), Edsel Wilson, Ray Wilson (Mary Lois) and Ralph Wilson.

He is survived by : his wife Carol Phillips Wilson; his children, Paul Wilson (Kathy) of Bear Creek, Andrea Wilson Hough (Randy) of Goldston and Rebecca Wilson Ramsey (David) of Bear Creek; his brother Arthur Wilson (Betty Jo) of Bear Creek; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Jean Wilson of Greensboro and Shirley Jean Wilson of Siler City. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyce-Brady Chapel (3833 Chatham St, Bennett, NC 27208). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church (88 Tom Hancock Rd, Bear Creek, NC 27207).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkview Retirement Village, 1801 Wicker St., Sanford, NC 27330 or the Hospice of your choice.
