He was predeceased by: his father William Brooks Mineer; and his sister Trish Carpenter. He is survived by: his son Jamelle Emerson (Jagger Emerson); his sisters, Jennifer Rowe (Michael) of Taylor Mill, KY, Kristie Catching-Bellew (Austin) of Maysville, KY, Gina Catching-Leet (Mike) of Maysville, KY and Becky McGinnis (Jamie) of Maysville, KY; his stepparents, Freda Mineer of Flemingsburg, KY and Danny Carpenter (Karen) of Flemingsburg, KY; and his friends, Johnny Thomas of Bennett, NC, Matthew Dodson of Graham, NC and Joe Seawell of Bear Creek, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles.
